Should you be having the 0.0.0.0 issue with a NEW install of The Sims 3 and should you choose to re-install: After uninstalling TS3 (by whatever means), make sure that any "The Sims 3" folders - either under Steam/SteamApps/Common or under Documents/Electronic Arts - are deleted, before you attempt to install TS3 again.Īlso - should you attempt to verify the local steam cache (for TS3) - the two Windows Registry patch files will always fail to verify (possibly because these two files delete themselves after making the required Registry changes).
